Feedback and Reflective Practice in Supervision

Presented by Dr Daphne Hewson

Reflective practice is emerging as a key approach in supervision and consultation. Both the supervisor and the practitioner need skills in how to reflect and how to give and receive reflective feedback. This interactive workshop provides theory and skills training in how to create a safe reflective space and engage in reflective dialogue. Participants are provided with a detailed handbook and Reflective Tool Kit that includes tools developed for reflective supervision.

Designed for any professional who provides reflective practice or supervision or consultation or peer consultation to staff, colleagues and trainees. This includes community support workers, counsellors, psychologists, social workers, allied health professionals, coaches and human resources workers. Practitioners who participate in reflective practice sessions are also welcome.

The workshop is recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia as a Master Class for Board-approved Psychology Supervisors (click here for more information)
